Triangle Forest

Triangle Forest - Spanish Eyes

Buzzing bass lines? Check. Live electro drumming? Check. Face-melting leads? Check. Soulful, dynamic vocals? Check Check Check! Well shit… It just another classic from Triangle Forest. Don’t know if this track is to be released on the follow up to the band’s first record “Hostile Takeover”, but anticipation over here is peaking!

Oh… and best band name ever too.

F. Matters

Birds & Batteries “Star Clusters” (flow matters’ Carbon Flash mix)

Hailing from Boston, Flow Matters is an electronic producer who has
spent the past 6 months remixing songs from some of the best
undiscovered indie bands in the United States. With his remix of Star
Clusters by Birds & Batteries, FM has fused instrumentation that might
be considered fundamentally opposed. When was the last time you heard
slide guitar and side-chaining in the same cut? FM’s marriage of
organic and electronic instrumentation is stunning and flawless.

XOAO

AndrĂ© Obin “XO1979″

Punchy mechanical beats, vocodered vocal melodies and sweeping strings characterize the latest offering from AndrĂ© Obin. The opening half-time rhythm coupled with glistening, intricate arpeggiation leads to an ominous passage, conjuring images of a futuristic seance. And that’s exactly what a dance floor can be at times; a spiritual experience. Leave it to Obin’s string work to lift the track into the light, plus a white hot breakdown to boot!

New M83

M83 “Kim & Jessie”

From a galaxy far, far away… (France really) M83 return with another batch of gorgeous, 80’s enthused pop gems. Picking up where “Before the Dawn Heals Us” left off, Anthony Gonzalez continues to craft albums to make love to. Why this song “Kim & Jesse” was not the lead single is beyond me. Instant euphoria. Like a blossoming romance that only an electro/soft rock/shoegaze track can capture.
